Our Puerto Portals project
In our Puerto Portals complete apartment reform, the owners came to us on a recommendation from previous customers after the apartment suffered water damage from the property above. We redesigned it from a two-bedroom, one-bathroom layout into a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home with open-plan living, and moved the kitchen beside the terrace to create a more social space with a relaxed, yacht-inspired character.

How a complete reform works with us
- Site visit. We visit the property, look at the space and talk through how you want to use it.
- Clear quote and plan. You get a written scope, a price and a realistic timetable, including any licence needed from the Ajuntament de Calvià.
- Licences and community rules. We prepare the town hall paperwork and plan around your community of owners’ rules on noise, working hours and access, which matter in Puerto Portals apartment buildings.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a licence for a reform in Puerto Portals?
Puerto Portals and Portals Nous are in the municipality of Calvià, so most works need permission from the Ajuntament de Calvià. Smaller interior works usually need a simpler notification, while structural changes, extensions or facade work need a full licence and often an architect’s project. We tell you which applies at the first visit.
Can you change the layout of my apartment, for example to add a bathroom?
Often, yes. In our Puerto Portals project we turned a one-bathroom apartment into a two-bathroom home and moved the kitchen beside the terrace. What is possible depends on the structure and drainage, which we check on the site visit.
Can you repair and redesign an apartment after water damage?
Yes. The Puerto Portals apartment on our projects page started with water damage from the property above. We stripped out the damaged areas and used the reform to redesign the whole home.
Can you manage the work if I am not in Mallorca?
Yes. We regularly manage projects for owners abroad, with photo updates and calls, and can look after the property once the work is finished.
